The Numbers Firm LLC - Meet Atlanta Attorney Osebolulu Omo-Abu

Osebolulu Omo-Abu “Ose,” is the Co-founder and Managing Attorney of The Numbers Law Firm, PLLC. She is a business tax attorney who is dedicated to aiding and supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs. From her humble beginnings in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn she had dreams of becoming a role model for young people from similar backgrounds. Ose recognized the importance of business ownership in urban minority communities. She believes business owners have a responsibility to uplift and demonstrate the importance of business ownership to youth in underdeveloped communities.

Ose obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. In 2016, she was admitted to law school at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. She joined several affinity clubs and was elected president of the LAMBDA Legal Society. As she matriculated through law school, she faced challenges that later inspired her to author a student note on the U.S. tax system and education funding. Through this research, she discovered a passion for tax. With this new-found passion, she took tax and business courses and landed the opportunity to serve as a general counsel intern for multiple corporations. Furthermore, she went on to pursue her LL.M. in Taxation at one of the nation’s top 2 programs; the University of Florida Fredrick G. Levin College of Law.

At the University of Florida, Ose was exposed to several areas of tax law, including Tax Controversy, Corporate Tax, and Estates and Trusts. Ultimately, Tax Controversy appealed to her most which again, inspired her to write a note on civil tax fraud penalties detailing when and how penalties are assessed by the IRS. Ose’s legal skills and aggressive representation style will bring value to small business owners and entrepreneurs facing IRS disputes.

Ose enjoys cycling, long walks, and other means of working out. She loves spending time with her daughter exploring new and exciting things in the city of Atlanta. Community outreach is a passion of hers and she is always looking for ways to give back to local communities.
